We embraced the evening as we did the beginning. A cool wind whipped at our faces as we joined the locals in the evening passeggiata – a leisurely stroll around town – a nightly ritual performed throughout Italy. The cool stone radiated the warmth of the day. We shoved our hands deeper in our pockets and opened our faces to the magic. Puglia awaits.
